CAPTAIN HOLT
Saturday, December 3, 2011
-
Today the members of Rescue 3 and Engine 15 spent their last tour with Captain Holt, due to a recent transfer list the Captain will no longer be with Rescue 3. Captain Holt came to the Anacostia Fire Department in 2009 and after a short time being in charge of the engine the Capt. was transferred to Rescue 3. The members of Engine 15 and Rescue 3 would like to say thank you to the Captain for a great last couple of years spent under his supervision. Captain Holt you will be missed. Not only were you a great officer and leader more importantly you have been a great friend. During the incident earlier this year where 3 members of Rescue 3 were injured Captain Holt went above and behind his responsibility as an officer, for that we will be forever grateful. Thank you for all that you have done for the members of Rescue 3 and Engine 15, we are better firemen and people just from you being here. Good luck with your new assignment we know you will shine wherever you are.
