Sunday, June 20, 2010 02:41 - After a night full of box alarms at 0241 hours Rescue 3 and BFC 3 were alerted to 4600 Central Avenue, NE with the 2nd Battalion units for the report of a house. E30 arrived (3 blocks from their quarters) to find fire showing from a single family detached dwelling. Rescue 3 arrived as E30 was knocking the fire and completed the primary search which proved negative. BFC 3 was assigned the attack group supervisor and monitored the actions on the fire floor. Command scaled the incident back to 1 and 2 and the Rescue and Chief returned to service at 0315 hours.
